Privacy policy
Effective July 11, 2026. BidTally is built for contractors, not for advertisers. Here is exactly what the app stores and why.
What we collect
- Account information — the email address and password you sign up with. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
- Business data you enter — your business profile (name, address, phone, logo), clients, estimates, invoices, line items, and item catalog.
- Documents you upload — photos and PDFs you attach to a job, such as signed delivery tickets or tax-exemption certificates.
Where it lives
Your data is stored in a database hosted by Supabase, our backend provider, and is protected by row-level security: your account can only read and write its own records. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.
What we don't do
- No advertising and no ad networks.
- No third-party tracking or analytics SDKs.
- No selling or sharing of your data with anyone.
Sharing you control
When you send an estimate or invoice by email, text, or PDF, that document goes to the recipient you chose. Nothing is sent on your behalf without your action.
Deleting your data
Email steve@getbidtally.com from your account address and we will delete your account and all associated data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
